'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Gets The Most Ridiculous Complaint, Show Ending Because Of Fans Whining?

'The Walking Dead' Season 7 might be on a quick hiatus for winter break, but fans' complaints keep on coming. Several fans even reported the show to the FCC, comparing the multi-awarded show to ISIS.

Moviefone previously reported of a complaint brought to the attention of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). According to some fans, the horrible and gruesome deaths on the show is almost ISIS-like.

One Minnesota-based fan wrote to the FCC saying, "This would have been rated R or NC-17 in the theater. You don't show ISIS beheading people on TV, nor should you allow someone to be beaten with a barbed-wire baseball bat."

It truly does seem like some fans are forgetting the show's nature of violence and gore - it is entitled "The Walking Dead" after all. However, the show did receive not only one but plenty of complaints from fans all over the world.

This has the showrunners and the cast worried about the show - more on that later. After two of the fans' favorite characters on the show were brutally killed on its season 7 premiere, and more characters met their demise throughout the course of the season, some fans have finally had enough.

Uproxx writer Donna Dickens wrote in her column saying, "Human interaction took a backseat to shock value and cheap 'tune in next week' tricks." Dickens continued with "I have no problem with violence on television, in general, but it has to make sense within the story."

"'Gore porn' for the sake of making the audience nauseated is just not what I'm looking for in my escapism." While some fans of the show agreed with the writer, some appealed against her post.

TWD star Andrew Lincoln expressed his disappointment at the fans' negative reactions. In an interview last week, Lincoln talked about how the show's cast and crew members work hard to give the best show they can get.

As much as fans would like to deny it, the show indeed is getting better with every season. No matter how graphic the violence gets, The Walking Dead is still the most popular show on television amongst most viewers.

Despite the show's decline in ratings, advertisers are still chasing after the show. It is still a question whether or not the show will continue after Season 8. But loyal fans of the show are hoping it would.
