Apple Will Swap The Faulty iPhone 6S Batteries

In a recent statement, Apple declared that the company is replacing the batteries of the iPhone 6S with a fault. It is proposed for a limited number of iPhone 6S which get shut down unexpectedly because of the fault.

BBC reported that such phones were manufactured between September and October 2015. These affected devices stop working suddenly even when the phone's battery is having plenty of charges. All those users will get a free replacement for the battery who are having the iPhone 6S.

Apple is requesting the customers with the faulty phone to contact an Apple store with an authorized repair shop or the firms support line in order to begin the process of replacing the battery. The company believes that only a limited serial number range was affected.

Before surrendering the phone for replacement the owners should back up the data and finally wipe it all off the handset. Those phones will require repair whose screen is cracked only than Apple will go ahead with the swapping of the battery. Mobile operators will stay away from taking part in the replacement effort.

Apple further states that the fault in iPhone 6 has occurred because people charge their handsets with genetic charge rather than Apples own brand ones.

The circuitry gets damaged while using one of these third-party chargers and the amount of charge is not reported correctly to the phone's operating system, but Apple has not confirmed whether this is the cause.

Earlier Apple announced a separate offer so as to fix the fault in the iPhone 6 Plus and now the battery swap program has arrived.

In the iPhone 6 Plus the touch screens steadily became less and less responsive in case they had been accidently dropped on a hard surface. The chips used in such handsets to drive the touch screen became loose after the impact.
