Spider-Man 2017 Film Spoilers, Cast & Release Date: New Captain America Sebastian Stan Takes Over From Chris Evans?

Playing “Captain America” has been easily associated with Chris Evans, something that has so far suited him after three “Captain America” films as well as two “Avengers” movies. But in the movie world, contracts stand to limit that run.

Evan’s contract is good only up to “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” which is slated to come out on May 4, 2018. But aside from that, could a recent revelation tied up with the “First Avenger” shake up things on who gets the right to don the Vibranium shield?

Steve Rogers part of Hydra?

The shakeup has something to do with the comic book version which reveals that “Steve Rogers” is actually a deep-cover Hydra agent all this time. Something worth to consider here is that film producers don’t follow the comics to the letter. But then again, it could be a neat angle to consider especially considering Evans’ contract is due to end in 2018.

If Marvel does decide to end it that way, it does make sense to see “The Winter Soldier” (Sebastian Stan) to take his place. In “Captain America: Civil War”, recall that he was put on deep freeze towards the end of the movie.

If Rogers defects, then a new Captain America could be up and Stan may be a wise choice. However, doing so may alter the way Marvel fans know “Cap”, not to mention invite a lot of heat as far as the proper depiction of the “First Avenger”.

Evans wants cameo part in Spider-Man flicks

Until that happens, Evans is still “Captain America” for now. With “Civil War” still fresh in the minds of many, “Spider-Man’s” (Tom Holland) performance may have been limited but lauded by many. And now the focus turns on his solo flick, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” which will hit the big screen on July 17, 2017.

“Maybe the next Spider-Mans. Those are going to be fantastic. I think Tom [Holland]’s just a great actor, so that might be a fun one to pop up into,” says Evans via MTV.

Seeing that happen may be impossible with budget and contract issues in play. It seems improbable to insert him prematurely considering the technicalities and work that may be needed at this point.
