First update of Microsoft's Windows 10 is out and there and many exciting features can be seen along with the update. Some features are obvious as soon as download the latest update but others are more hidden. One such feature is called "Find my Device" which helps the user locate their lost device. This feature was earlier available for the android devices and has now been made available to windows 10 too. So if your laptop ever gets stolen, you can use this unique feature to track it down. This feature is not only available for free but also lets you remotely ring, lock, erase and show your device on a map, reports Tech Times.

If you want to enable the feature, you need to ensure that the master location has been switched on your device. Sign into the device as an Administrator, select the settings, click 'Update and Security, Find My device and then select the enable option. Once you have enabled this feature, your Windows 10 device will start sending its location to Microsoft intermittently. Your device's location will be stored in OneDrive which will help you locate the lost/stolen device easily, as reported by PC World

In case your device is lost or stolen, you need to login into your Microsoft account. A prompt to select the device will be displayed on the screen once you sign in. Select it from the option and click 'Find my Device'. A map will appear on the screen with the location. It is important to remember that this was the last location where the device was active or online. Which means that if your device is stolen and has been switched off, it will not work accurately, as reported by Tech Times.
