Three Reasons Why You Aren't Losing Weight

You have been doing all you could to loose those extra pounds, but still haven't achieved any results. We suspect following could be one of the reasons:

  • You might be eating wrong. Every time you go for a run, you get hungry and are tempted to eat a burger or anything heavy. Now that you run regularly, doesn't mean that you can indulge in calorie-rich food. Chances are that you might be eating in excess to compensate for the calories you have burned while running. Next time you feel hungry after a run, consider eating something like oats or some Greek yoghurt.
  • You might not be running right. Some people cover a long distance but never increase the speed of the running. This doesn't help in burning many calories. Running slowly also puts body into a comfort zone. Therefore increase your speed slowly so that your body doesn't get adapted to that pace too soon.
  • Few people have the tendency to consume too many health drinks while on the run. You should keep in mind that those special electrolyte drinks are very high in calories. If you run for around an hour, water is sufficient, but don't keep overdoing it as well.
