We all love to eat while reading a book. There are some food that are perfect to munch on while some are not. Here's is a checklist.
This is a perfect thing to have while reading. There is something soothing about the beverage that can add much to the pleasure of reading a book. You can even try hot soup if you are closer to your meal time.
Wafers and cookies
This is one of the most popular choices. There are chances that you may get so immersed in the book that before you know it, entire packet of wafers has disappeared. Therefore it's advisable to put some into bowl and have only that much. Also, prefer whole-wheat crackers.
A fruit smoothie can be a dose of refreshment while being nutritious at the same time. It is better to have smoothie without the sugar. If you want to add some taste to it, use honey instead.
Pasta is not runny or messy, so you can tuck into it with fork. It leaves the other hand free for holding the book.
Food to avoid
Chocolate: Because it adds unnecessary dose of sugar.
Popcorn: It leaves your fingers greasy.
You should also avoid aerated drinks and white bread sandwiches.
