Mike Colter, who plays the titular character, recently attended the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo, has confirmed several details including the "Luke Cage" Season 2 filming schedule. According to him, the cast and crew will start working on the second installment for "Luke Cage."

Filming will start this June until Mar. of next year. Are we going to see "Luke Cage" Season 2 next year?

Luke Cage Faces New Bad Guys

MCU Exchange has worked on another session of Marvel characters breakdowns with The Hashtag Show. They previously talked about the upcoming casting additions for "Jessica Jones" Season 2.

Meanwhile, two comic book supervillains might head to the live-action adaptation from Netflix and Marvel. The outlet speculated that the series will include the female version of Luke's brother, James A.K.A. Coldfire. Meanwhile, the other one is Byron, who might become as the Bushmaster.

They also reported that someone leaked audition videos, which have been deleted. The said clips featured "King Kong" actor Evan Parke and Amina Robinson from "Precious." As of now, there are still no updates if "Luke Cage" Season 2 will officially add them to the roster.

Before "Luke Cage" Season 2, Mike Colter will appear with the other heroes on "The Defenders." It will air in Aug. 2017. Stay tuned for more updates.
