Eminem New Album News: 'Rap God' Rapper Returns To Festival Stages This Summer

There is no doubt that Eminem is still one the most awaited acts when he would be part of any festival performances. Not only are music lovers waiting for a new Eminem album, they are surely waiting for his next live performance this summer.

A recent report from HipHopDX suggested that Eminem will be performing in the upcoming music festival in the United Kingdom this Aug. 2017. The "Rap God" hit maker is surely aware that his fans are anticipating a new album from him, which could also be the reason why he would be performing at the Reading and Leeds music fest.

Eminem Will Perform Live Amidst New Album News

The "Cleaning Out My Closet" rapper closed the said fest back in 2001 and 2013. This year, he will be joining several music stars and celebrities of all genres. The founder and promoter of the festival shared his thoughts about Em's guesting at the event.

“Eminem returning to Reading and Leeds is beyond exciting,” said Melvin Benn. “His 2013 headline performance was incredible and I cannot wait to have him back. In addition to our third and final headliner – joining Kasabian and Muse – we’ve announced over 70 additional acts to this year’s line up. It is looking stronger than ever.”

The source also revealed that fans will also see performances from Major Lazer, Tory Lanez, Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies, and Migos. There will also be dozens of other acts and special performances.

Will A New Eminem Album Be Released?

Tripped Media shared that fans cannot wait to hear the "Slim Shady" rapper's new record. Reports continue that the legendary rapper is still working on his new compilation of songs.

Eminem has kept a low profile from making music and live performances for the past year. Yet, he recently made a cameo appearance in "No Favors" from Big Sean's new album.
