"Yuri On Ice" brings so much to the table in regards to the show's writing and exploration of subjects. The first season captivated the viewers with just a few brief seconds, which some anime failed to do in their entirety.

Even though the first season just recently concluded and fans are still picking up their jaws after learning Yuri's place in the competition, "Yuri On Ice" Season 2 is believed to be already a done deal. In no more than 30 seconds of watching "Yuri On Ice," viewers can already feel the mystery, wonder, and captivation that Yuri felt watching his idol, Victor, dancing in the dark.

Through lighting and direction, viewers were as mystified as the protagonist, which led fans to get attached to the character. "Yuri On Ice" is presented with greater purpose than just causing viewers to blush and squeal. If not given a chance, viewers will be missing out on what might prove to be some of the best writing in anime this year.

When famous figure skater and very naked, Victor Nikiforov, and fanboy, Yuri Katsuki, first met face to face in "Yuri On Ice" episode 1, it was clearly awkward but there was more to that moment than just a pretty anime boy showing off his body. Victor was directly challenging Yuri's personality and wanting him to get out of his shell.

This boy wouldn't even take a picture with Victor but manages to perfectly recreate his performance on the ice. The thought of a young boy meeting his idol has already captured a lot of hearts, but viewers then realized that there were a lot of sexual tensions between Victor and Yuri. This undeniable connection led fans to ship the two and hoped that there will be more of this moment in "Yuri On Ice" Season 2 which is expected to launch in 2017. The show's creator has yet to comment on the release date rumors.
