Rumors have been circulating for some time now that 'Outlander' stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have been dating each other. Some new reports have now suggested that the love struck birds are planning to announce their engagement in the premiere of the upcoming Season 3 of 'Outlander' due in Spring next year.

According to reports, Heughan and Balfe are very much inseparable on the sets of 'Outlander' 3 that is being filmed right now. Eyewitnesses have claimed that the two actors are very sweet and flirty with each other on set.

Further claims suggested that Heughan and Balfe were seen leaving the set of 'Outlander' Season 3 during breaks, a couple of times. This then sparked rumors that the two lead actors were very much into each other and share a chemistry even off the set of 'Outlander.'

If rumors are to be believed, then fans of 'Outlander' might have their joy doubled with an announcement of an engagement on the premier of Season 3. Heughan and Balfe are yet to confirm on the reports of their dating and engagement.

As for the official plot synopsis of the upcoming Season 3 of 'Outlander,' Den of Geek noted, "Now pregnant, Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies). Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) suffers from the aftermath of  his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. As the year pass, Jamie and Claire attempt to make a life apart from one another, each haunted by the memory of their love."
