Microsoft Surface Book 2 Preview: Specs, Features, Release Dates, Rumours

The much-hyped launch of Microsoft Surface Book last year is set for a similar reception this year too.  After success in laptops, Microsoft get-set-ready for Surface Book 2, the ultra-thin and ultra-light weight hybrid laptop. Installed with its own Windows 10 Operating system, users are sure to experience the cutting-edge technology of this product.

Surface Book 2 is the high-end hybrid laptop having detachable 13.5" touch screen, which can function as a tablet with 10 point multi-touch. It is capable of delivering a 4K resolution with 3D display, a unique feature, second to none. The laptop brings along a surface pen (Stylus) that can be used for Writing, Digital Signatures, and Drawings on the touch screen.

It is powered by 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM i5-6300U mobile processor and 8GB RAM to give high efficiency and incredible performance. Coupled with Nvidia Ge Force GPU and 128GB SSD, the laptop raises the eyebrows for tech lovers.  

The 13.5" touch display, offers brilliant and unseen functionality with surface pen and adds 2 million more pixels than MacBook Pro 13". It has 3000 X 2000 resolution with 267 ppi. The tablet has 8MP rear facing auto focus camera for taking high resolution 1080P photos, while front the facing 5MP camera attuned for video chats & selfies.

It is rumored that the launch is synced with Intel's Kaby lake processor, which is faster than any other while consuming less battery, according to NeuroGadget. It is learnt that Microsoft is expediting the release of Redstone 2 update for Windows 10 to be launched in spring of 2017. The price is expected to be around $1499 for Intel® CoreTM i5 processor and slightly higher for Intel® CoreTM i7 processor.
