The latest "Teen Wolf" season 6 spoilers have revealed that the upcoming new episodes will be "frightening but different."

How would the production team bring the MTV supernatural drama series into this new level of excitement?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Jeff Davis has hinted about the things that every fan must look forward to.

As such, he revealed in a new set of spoilers that a new group of mysterious "supernatural henchmen" will be joining "Teen Wolf" season 6.

Called The Ghost Riders, their introduction would make the production team explore the idea of villains who are not around to look for a fight, amid the fact that they've got the real superpower.

"We've had seasons where there's just bodies dropping everywhere, and we wanted to do something frightening but different," the show's creator dished. "What's scarier than death? Being forgotten. Being completely erased."

While showing off a portion of "Teen Wolf" season 6 script, Davis gave fans a glimpse of how it would be for Beacon Hills when Stiles Stilinski (Dyan O'Brien) will be abducted.

"Almost immediately people will notice something missing because Stiles is such an indelible part of Beacon Hills," he noted.

When it comes to the lives of Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), Malia Tate (Shelley Henning) and Lydia Martin (Holland Roden), he had this to say, "They each realize that something huge is missing in their life and they come to this eventual conclusion it might be a person."

In the meantime, Aussie Network News reported that the air date of "Teen Wolf" season 6 might be pushed to 2017.

While it was previously reported that the television program's new season would already start airing by October this year, the accident involving one of its lead actors Dylan O'Brien might have influenced this rumored decision for "Teen Wolf" season 6.
