Observers and Nexus users could not have been more excited for the rumored release of the two upcoming Google Nexus smartphones from HTC after the leaked renders made its way online. The incident also hints for its upcoming release rumored between August and September, with some sources claiming Google Nexus 2016 will be out to the market the same time as Android 7.0 Nougat.

Image Renders of the new Google Nexus smartphones, popularly known as Nexus “Sailfish “ and Nexus “Marlin,” providing techies and aficionados a peak of its top features when released. Vine Reported the claims made by the sources close to the production of the upcoming Nexus phones, providing details of their physical features, which Android Police used to create a mock render of the device.

Initial images hinted the new Nexus phones will not contain the iconic Nexus” branding on them, and it was replaced by “G” sign on it, looking exactly like the stylized letter on Google logo. There is also a clear absence of HTC branding on the image render which heightens rumors that the upcoming Nexus smartphones are veering away from the “effects of branding,” on them.

Sources said both Nexus “Marlin” and “Sailfish” will have a 12 MP primary cameras and an 8 MP front camera. Bitbag reported that Sailfish appears half-an-inch smaller than Marlin, and boasts Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SOC, while Sailfish comes with a 64-bit 2.0 GHZ Quad core processor. Techies who love to take photos and videos may enjoy the use of Marlin for its additional 128GB internal memory, in addition to the standard 32GB.

Both "Marlin" and "Sailfish" have the same 4GB of RAM, the former’s battery(3, 450 mAh) is more powerful  than Sailfish’s Battery(2,770 mAh). Industry experts expected both Nexus smartphones will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Google has recently unveiled the Nougat OS, confirming September rollout, and rumors continue to roar that Google Nexus smartphones will be released at the same time, reported Bitbag.

As the release date remains unconfirmed, Oracle Dispatch claimed that HTC now focuses on the manufacture of the two variants of Nexus smartphones.
