A new "Yuri!!! On Ice Season 2" arc may be revealed on Apr. 29, according to reports. Also, the upcoming season may focus on the strong rivalry between Katsuki and Plisetsky.

The possibility for the second season escalated when the first season reached heights of popularity. Recently, the show was named as one of the top-selling Blu-ray volumes for a TV series by Oricon Sales Report, as it was the most dominating show since Feb. 24, reports The Christian Post.

Currently, fans are very much excited for the Yuri!!! On Stage" event that will take place on Apr. 29. The source said that the stage event is full of festivities, which allows fans to purchase limited edition of merchandises related to "Yuri!!! On Ice."

Fans are hoping that MAPPA Studio and Mitsuro Kubo might take this opportunity to make an official announcement regarding "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2. And if that happens, there is also a possibility that the studio might as well reveal the first official trailer for the second season. Viewers are also anticipating that they will get to see a new arc and plot spoilers.

Yuri Katsuki And Yuri Plisetsky Fight Predicted

According to Mobipicker, Yuri Katsuki and Yuri Plisetsky will have a strong rivalry among them in "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2. In the last season, Katsuki loses to Plisetsky and this is sure to create a big animosity between them. Although after his defeat, Katsuki decides to take retirement from skating, he gets back in touch with his mentor, Viktor and asks him to coach for another year.

This indicates that Katsuki has not retired at all and in the "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2, he will bounce back and fans might get to see a good fight between Katsuki and Plisetsky yet again.
