The release of “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 is still not confirmed. Anime fans will be disheartened for sure to know that Viz Media (the Japanese American entertainment organization that runs “Tokyo Ghoul” and “One Punch Man”) has recently said "No" to any progress in the anime series. In other words, it means the anticipated anime series will not premiere next month, and the release in this year is quite doubtful.

There is no question that “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 still creates headlines, despite the fact that its previous season ended almost three years back. This depicts how anime fans truly love the series until now and they are eagerly waiting for another season, as promised earlier.

What Can We Expect From “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3?

According to Stars Post, written by Sui Ishida, “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 will be seen focusing on the female lead Touka Kirishima, who gives a try to enter college instead of giving attention to the main character, Ken Kaneki. Some fans also believe that the upcoming season will have Haise Sasaki as the main character, who is reportedly supposed to be the new version of Ken Kaneki.

The character is also expected to be an investigator and subsequently an important member of Quinx Squad. This consists of a special squad of CCG investigators.

Is Ken Kaneki Still Alive?

Apart from all these, a good number of viewers thought that Ken Kaneki may either be resurrected or just a reincarnation of the collapsed character, due to their physical similarities like white and black hair and same features. Some also predicted that Ken Kaneki is still alive and Kishou Arima took him to the Commission of Counter Ghoul, with an objective to give him a new personality.

However, no information related to “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 has been revealed yet, but The Christian Post confirmed that Viz Media’s “One Punch Man” is all set to return anytime this year. Hence, anime enthusiasts can take their attention to the other popular series for now.
