"Rick and Morty" Season 3 Further Delayed

Den of Geek clarified that the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 was supposed to be released in 2016. However, the show continues to be delayed in release because of the new storyline.

Mike McMahan already confirmed that they are recording the new episodes for the new season of "Rick and Morty." Perhaps, the teasers from the writers made the fans thirstier about the new season. Harmon then revealed that fans can play the interactive website of "R&M" while waiting for the series to be on air.

More Women Writers Will Be In "Rick and Morty" Production

Harmon also confirmed that more women writers will be on the new season. He added that gender balance will be able to give diversity to the story.

“There was a craving for a gender balance in the writers’ room that we had never had and I do not know if it was coincidence or because the show was popping up on the radar of a lot of great female writers noticing," Harmon said in an interview. "Well, they do not have any women writers in there. I am gonna submit something.’ It was probably a combination of all those factors.”

As of now, there is no confirmed release date for "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
