According to reports, shooting for the gangster drama on BBC One will start soon, OK! reported. A major chunk of this show is being filmed in Liverpool but it is being said that some scenes will be also shot in the Midlands.
The drama revolves around the 1920s era and has been enjoying a loyal set of followers since it started in 2013. So, it was not a surprise when the news of its renewal for a fifth season was declared.
This BBC drama that features Cillian Murphy in the lead role will assemble in Liverpool from Mar. 20 onwards, along with the remaining crew and cast . Thereafter, filming will be resumed for the new episodes based on the Shelby family.
Birmingham Mail wrote that shooting for the new episodes of "Peaky Blinders" will take place at the Black Country Living Museum this May. The report also mentioned that it will take around four months to complete filming all the episodes of the upcoming season. The editing process will take around two more months to complete.

Steven Knight, the showrunner of the series said that the new season is expected to be "the best" yet. On the other hand, Murphy shared recently that the upcoming season will witness the Shelby family going back to their roots.
Spoilers for season 4 further suggested that the new installment will cover the fate of the Shelby family. The last time the members were seen in handcuffs. All the family members were charged with crimes like blowing up a train, robbery and homicide.
