It looks like there will be more waiting for "Rick and Morty" fans. The show's season 3 is reportedly delayed even further.

Dan Harmon Claims Delay As His Fault

According to The Reporter Times, many development issues have been the cause of the delay. The show’s creator, Dan Harmon said the delay was caused by him, although he mentions that their constant arguments and slow writing were a few of the reasons as well. Harmon adds "Rick and Morty" is an animation production and everything has to be on paper.

The writers, however, said that they have finished writing the next installment of the animated series. An opening scene was released on Adult Swim Australia, which excited fans all over the world. The episodes were set to be completed by Sept. It is now all in the hands of the animation team and it is estimated that they will be releasing "Rick and Morty" Season 3 by June.

Season 3 Arriving In April?

Meanwhile, a report from Hall of Fame Magazine stated that the release date for season 3 might come in April. Creators of the show have been a constant tease, from cryptic tweets, to creator, Justin Roiland joking and saying that season 3 is cancelled.

Fear not, "Rick and Morty" fans, this was just a joke. Fans have been going crazy over this, as the last season ended on a cliffhanger. Viewers are even making negative comments and sending frustrating messages on Roiland’s social media platforms.

The latest tweet of the show’s creator hints that the season 3 will come out soon. A query on "Fargo’s" Season 3 was made and mentioned that the creator “Feels like we’ve been waiting forever.” Fans of the show took it as a wonderful hint.

It seems like “Rick and Morty” Season 3 is not far along but the waiting time is agonizing for fans everywhere.
