The competition is heating up in "The Voice" Season 12 but the chemistry between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani seem to be even hotter. Meanwhile, the second night of the blind auditions saw all four coaches getting pretty focused on their turning strategies.

"The Voice" Season 12 Coaches Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Romance On Set

Though they are pitted against each other, it doesn't mean Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will not be showing a little affection towards one another in "The Voice." It was quite harmless though, but who knows how things will get more interesting in the upcoming episodes.

One of those mushiest moments came when a contestant chose team Alicia a Keys instead of Stefani. Shelton's lady love headed straight towards him for consolation as she settled in his chair. Later, she gave a cute bear hug to her boyfriend.

This was something that surprised their fellow coach Adam Levine, who asked Shelton teasingly, "Who are you?" He did not stop here and went on teasing the couple all through the show.

In fact, when the time came for a contestant to take the all-important decision who was contemplating to join team Stefani, he butted in. Levine told the singer with mock seriousness, "You can't choose her." The coach added, "She's taken. She's his girlfriend."

But that does not mean that Shelton and Stefani did not compete with one another in the show. In fact, both collided a few times as they chased the same singers for their respective teams.

There was a point when Stefani even stood up so that her boyfriend could not give his pitch, AOL reported. Her strategy worked that time as the contestant went to her team. Later on, even Shelton came ahead to join in a group hug.

"The Voice" Season 12 Coaches Are Serious About Their Turn Strategies

"The Voice" Season 12's second night of blind auditions saw all the four coaches namely Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani getting pretty focused on their strategies for turning around. While Levine and Stefani are looking for fresh talents with a strong hold over different genres, Keys wants to support young artists, Hollywood Reporter mentioned.

Shelton sticks to his preference for a strong and talented country musician, which has made his teams a dominant force to reckon with in the finals in previous seasons. Night three of "The Voice" Season 12's Blind Auditions will be telecast on Thursday.
