Kristen Stewart Adventure Exclusive: 'Twilight' Actress May Star in Survival Flick, 'Underwater'
Kristen Stewart may soon appear in survival movie, "Underwater." The "Twilight" actress may play a lead role in the adventure thriller from Fox. If she does sign, it would be one of the biggest assignments for Stewart after a long gap.
Kristen Stewart's Underwater Armageddon
According to DNA, the movie is similar to an underwater "Armageddon". The source said that the story line will focus on developments below the water. A scientific crew will take the center stage. They have to go underwater and on a dangerous journey to survive after earthquake hits them.
Kristen Stewart will play a hardened and jaded crew member, Norah. She is a strong and courageous woman and develops a special relationship with another crew member. The production of the movie is expected to begin in New Orleans in March 2017. "The Signal" famed Will Eubank will be behind the lens. It would be a big opportunity for the ex-girlfriend of Robert Pattinson. Deadline reports that she is in talks with Chernin Entertainment and 20th Century Fox people right now.
Big Movie For Kristen Stewart After A Long Time
"Twilight" trilogy was one of the biggest breaks for the 27-year-old actress. Post those movies, she favored small movies and even ditched several big-budget flicks. She starred in five such small movies, "Certain Women", "Anesthesia", "Personal Shopper", "Billy Lyn's Long Halftime Walk", and "Café Society" in 2016.
With "Underwater," she will once again return to the big production house which sure will do a justice to her unexplored caliber. Kristen Stewart has been in news more for her personal life than the movies. However, it does not mean that she has lost her focus. Rather she has been cleverly chalking out a niche for herself that could define exclusively the actress within her.
If at all, Kristen Stewart signs "Underwater," it would be a big treat for her fans to watch her as dynamic Norah.
