Sam Heughan Dating: 'Outlander' Season 3 Star, Caitriona Balfe Ready For New Intimate Scenes

The new "Outlander" Season 3 will be heading to a new location for its upcoming episodes. The rumored couple, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe announced that they are heading to Cape Town after saying goodbye to their fans in Scotland.

A report from Access Hollywood suggested that the rumored couple and stars of "Outlander" Season 3, are heading to Cape Town to finish filming their steamy and romantic scenes. The on-screen couple said goodbye to their fans in Scotland in a short video.

"We are going to Cape Town and we are extremely excited," Heughan says in the interview. "There is sunshine apparently. We do not know what that is."

There is no doubt that fans are awaiting for the new episodes of the show. Reports also claimed that Jamie and Claire will be having more steamy scenes, as fans were looking to see more this time around. Balfe and Heughan were both aware that the televiewers are hoping to see more intimate scenes from them, as the last season lacked intimacy.

The production team and the cast will continue shooting in Cape Town, South Africa where "Black Sails", another Starz TV series shot their episodes. Luke Arnold and Hannah New of "Black Sails" even shared their thoughts in an interview, saying they are jealous about Heughan and Balfe's next destination.

"They are going to have a lot of fun," Arnold says in an interview. "Very jealous!"

Meanwhile, CarterMatt unveiled that Balfe will be receiving an award from Oscar Wilde Award at J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company in Santa Monica for her work as Claire Fraser in the hit TV drama.

"Outlander" Season 3 starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe returns in September 2017 on Starz.
