The leading man in "Outlander" Season 3, Sam Heughan has finally opened up about the spoilers, cast information, and release date of the hit TV series. He also answers if he will have some steamy scenes with Caitriona Balfe. 

A recent report from Den Of Geek suggests that the Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe of the series, "Outlander" Season 3 already confirmed its release date. The series will also adapt the novels of Diana Gabaldon entitled, "Voyager" and "Drums of Autumn".

Outlander Stars Sam Heughan And Caitriona Balfe Spills Details

As per the latest report, the third season of "Outlander" will be starting its story with Balfe's entrance to the stones. She will be returning to her life in the year of 1948. The story will be showing the details about the characters during the "Droughtlander" episodes.

Carmi Zlotnik, the President of Programming for Starz network even states, "The scale of this book is immense, and we owe the fans the very best show," she says after spilling that the series will return on September.

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe: New Details About Show

Balfe has also shared new details for the fans to wait in the new season. She says that it will have different stories to tell, as it will show the fans the story of Jamie, while they were not together. Balfe's Claire will be living with Frank and Brianna. She will also be seen as a professional, surgeon and doctor this time around.

In the meantime, Balfe and Heughan previously promised to have more steamy scenes after they reunite in season 3. Hollywood Life unveils that the on-screen couple bid farewell to Scotland, as they finished filming in the country.

"We would like to say a little thank you to the people of Scotland,” Balfe states as she thanks the people who welcomed them in the heritage sites they visited including the crew.

The "First Light" actor also states, "We just want to say goodbye to Scotland and to our fans, as well and everyone who has come to see us. Goodbye, Scotland!”
