The Buffalo Bills could use some additional help and all that could start with a new quarterback. The team does have Tyrod Taylor at the moment, critics question his ability to carry the team on his shoulders. Aside from Kaepernick, the name of Philip Rivers was also in the mix though all that was doused with the 35-year-old veteran having a no-trade clause with the Chargers.

The San Francisco 49ers are currently busy rebuilding after another disappointing season. Trent Baalke and Chip Kelly are gone and Colin Kaepernick’s stay will largely depend on the new top office honchos. Through the 2016-17 NFL season, Kaepernick had his share of struggles despite reclaiming his starting spot from the ineffective Blaine Gabbert.

Colin Kaepernick is expected to opt out of his contract in the offseason though such is not an immediate indication that he would be moving on. Rather, Kaepernick is seen to negotiate for a new pact with the 49ers, a decision that may very well fall in the hands of the new general manager and head coach, NFL.com reported. If he is unable to strike a deal with the 49ers, the 29-year-old could be one of the prized players that teams may invest in.

For the Bills, Kaepernick could prove to be a better player at quarterback, Fansided reported. The person who is expected to make that call would be new head coach Sean McDermott. Though the Bills could stick with Taylor and invest more time to help him improve. McDermott and management may assess which move makes more sense and immediate results for them moving forward.

Most believe that if Kaepernick best stays with the 49ers if the pay is his priority. However, Kaepernick will likely want assurance that he will be the official starter for that team. Those are just some of the little things aspiring teams need to take into consideration if they plan to take in the Milwaukee native.
