Jack will finally be back this year. "Samurai Jack" Season 5 is expected to premiere on Adult Swim, and they have come up with the perfect way to prepare for the show's return. The network is set to air all of the previous 52 episodes of the animated series leading up to the final season.

Fans have long been hoping to see another episode of "Samurai Jack" although the titular hero already defeated the dreaded demon Haku. But what happens to Jack after that? Luckily, creator Genndy Tartakovsky has confirmed "Samurai Jack" Season 5 will premiere on Adult Swim in 2017. But before the final season airs, people can catch up on all previous episodes starting this week.

A quick look at Adult Swim's weekly schedule confirms that "Samurai Jack" will begin airing on Saturday. The first episode, simply titled "I", will air at 8:30pm Central Time. One episode is expected to air every week, slowly leading up to the premiere of "Samurai Jack" Season 5. Considering that there have already been 52 episodes, the fifth and final season could premiere sometime in late December, perhaps December 30th.

It might seem like a really long wait for "Samurai Jack" Season 5, but it is still possible that Adult Swim will try to move the air date much earlier. There are speculations that the network will air some of the seasons in special marathons. It would still be possible that the final season will premiere in early fall.

"Samurai Jack" Season 5 will be the final season that takes place 80 years after Jack defeated Haku. However, Genndy Tartakovsky has confirmed that the demon will be back in the last season. In the meantime, the first episode of "Samurai Jack" will air on Adult Swim on January 14.
