The last time we saw "Jane the Virgin," she wasn't a virgin anymore (spoiler), and she's happily married to Michael. This seemingly puts an end to the Jane-Rafael-Michael love triangle that was built up during the show's first couple of seasons. Now that she's married and settled down, though, it seems that problems will continue to plague her. When "Jane the Virgin" season 3 returns this month, viewers will watch as Michael quits his job at the Miami PD.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 ended its winter finale with a cliffhanger, a revelation that Rafael is in fact, not a Solano. A big bummer for someone who had worked so hard to uphold his father's name. But this is a telenovela, and twists are expected. Entertainment Weekly reports that we also saw how Jane's cousin Catalina is somewhat a shady character. What will her role be moving forward, now that Rafael isn't a Solano and might go on to find his true identity?

There are a lot of loose ends that need to be wrapped when "Jane the Virgin" season 3 returns. The good news is that the show has been renewed for a fourth season. The news comes via UPI, which reported that "Jane the Virgin," along with The CW's other shows, "Supergirl," "The Flash," "Arrow," and "Legends of Tomorrow" have received early renewals.

Speaking of renewals, "Jane the Virgin" season 3 star Gina Rodriguez took to Instagram to share a note about the early renewal. She shared a photo of herself getting glammed up for the recently concluded Golden Globe Awards, crediting "family, friends, cast, and supporters" who have been behind the show since day one.

While everything seems to be fine and dandy for Rodriguez, the same can't be said for Jane, whose husband Michael quit his job as a detective. Where will this leave the couple now? Viewers will have to find out what will happen after Michael quits his job on "Jane the Virgin" season 3, which airs on January 23 on The CW. Check out the trailer for the upcoming episode below.
