'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' Release Date, SPOILERS: Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow Reunion With Keira Knightley Not Happening

Fans have been hoping that Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom will be reunited as Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Hunter in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales". However, the synopsis for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" seem to confirm that Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Swann will not be a part of the highly anticipated Disney sequel.

Orlando Bloom's absence from "On Stranger Tides" did not go unnoticed, so fans have been hoping that Will Turner will return in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" along with Elizabeth Swann. Unfortunately, Keira Knightley's possible reunion with Johnny Depp might not happen when "Dead Men Tell No Tales" premieres later this year.

The synopsis for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" reveals that Johnny Depp's character is once again in trouble, this time with Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) hot on his heels. Luckily, Captain Jack Sparrow will be getting help from Kaya Scodelario's Carina Smyth and Brenton Thwaites' Henry as he helms a tiny ship called the Dying Gull.

It's a lengthy synopsis that could overshare what will happen in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" but there is certainly no mention of Will Turner or Elizabeth Swann. Although Orlando Bloom has already confirmed he will return in the sequel, Keira Knightley's possible comeback may have been pushed aside so the film can focus on Johnny Depp. This way, it could be up to Captain Jack Sparrow to save his fellow pirates from the murderous Captain Salazar.

Keira Knightley might not be a part of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" but that doesn't mean Johnny Depp will not have any familiar company in the sequel. In addition to Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush is still set to reprise his role as Captain Hector Barbossa. "Dead Men Tell No Tales" will premiere on May 26.
