Sony has officially revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus member this January 2017, sticking the traditional six-game title offerings for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. Of the Sony PlayStation game console variants, the PS4 and PS Vita get a total of four titles each. This was largely due to the cross-buy support for the PlayStation Plus program.

Among the games that can be availed of for the PS4 and PS Vita include “Day of the Tentacle Remastered”, “The Swindle”, and “Titan Souls”. PS4 owners will get “This War of Mine: Little Ones” apart from the three while PS Vita owners will get “Azkend 2”, the PlayStation Blog reported.

With regard to the PS4 game offers, “Day of the Tentacle Remastered” is a game involving three friends to prevent an evil mutilated purple tentacle from taking over the world. The other game title to seriously consider is “This War of Mine: The Little Ones” where gamers play as a group of villains to survive a city under siege.

PS3 owners get only two game titles for the PlayStation Plus January 2017 offering in “The Swindle” and “Blazerush”. The free games go live starting Jan. 3, Game Spot reported. With the upcoming PlayStation Plus Free Games for January, there is still time to get hold of the December freebies. Among the game titles available for multiple game consoles include “Color Guardians” (PS4 and PS Vita), and “Tiny Troopers: Joint Ops” (PS4, PS3 and PS Vita).

“Invisible Inc.” and “Stories: Path of Destinies” are the other titles available for the PS4 December lineup of the PlayStation Plus while the PS3 includes “Hyper Void” and the PS Vita has “VVVVVV”. These game titles will revert to their normal price after Jan. 2, 2017. With the new lineup, PlayStation Plus gamers can expect an interesting bunch of titles which should kick off the “Year of the Rooster” in style. Check out the trailer below.
