'This Is Us' Season 1: Will Toby Survive From Heart Attack?

"This Is Us" is a comedy-family-drama series created by Dan Fogelman. It is about the family lives and relations of several people having the same birthday. It also explains the similarity and differences of each individual.

The TV series runs when fraternal twins Kevin and Kate along with their adopted brother Randall. Randall was born on the same day and was abandoned at a fire station. The siblings Kate and Kevin were actually part of a triplet pregnancy. The triplets were conceived in one of the bars' bathroom during Super Bowl XIV. Jack and Rebecca decided to adopt another newborn baby and that was Randall.

Episode 10 Last Christmas was a genuine cliffhanger and dramatic. Toby was visiting Randall just to surprise Kate, and planning to make things right for her. They weren't okay until Toby got a heart attack. In the scene, Toby was in the hospital and surgeons were reviving him.

In this episode, Randall will be trying to learn about his father. Kate will be struggling with her feelings for Toby, while William will be spending more time with Jesse. It wasn't clear if Toby will survive. However, many fans wished he will.

These family-drama series weave through the moments of the past and present of the characters. The flashback episodes took place in Pittsburgh, while the present was ripping between New Jersey, Los Angeles, and New York City. The cast is Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, Justin Hartley, Chris Sullivan, and Ron Cephas Jones.

The TV series premiered on NBC on September 20. NBC decide that the comedy-family-drama series will have its full season of 18 episodes. The series aired on CTV on September 21 in Canada and on TVNZ 2 in New Zealand on September 2. In the United Kingdom, it aired on Channel 4 last December 6.
