The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress Dakota Johnson has been rumored to have a romantic affair with model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne of "Suicide Squad". A source close to Johnson says the rumor is false. There are no official announcements or even proof that the two are romantically linked.

Johnson and Delevingne met through a mutual friend, singer and songwriter Taylor Swift. The two became instant friends and have been photographed together attending parties and events. However, there are no telltale signs like kissing or holding hands indicating the couple is more than just friends.

The rumor started when Johnson and Delevingne became single, ending their relationships with their respective partners. Allegedly, they sought comfort in each other’s arms as reported by the news and gossip site Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Johnson recently broke up with on and off boyfriend musician Matthew Hitt. The breakup came just after the release of Johnson’s movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” in 2015. They got back again a few months after, by June of this year the relationship is officially over.

Meanwhile, Delevingne broke up with girlfriend musician St. Vincent after more than a year of dating. Both were unable to handle the pressures of a long distance relationship. St. Vincent is now in a romantic relationship with Kristen Stewart, who made their first public appearance as a couple in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show last Thursday in Los Angeles.

Johnson is not new to romantic rumored hook ups. Throughout the filming of the 3 franchises of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy, Johnson has often been linked to co-star Jamie Dornan. Johnson plays the innocent Anastasia Steele and Dornan the controlling Christian Grey.

Allegedly, the intimate love scenes on set led to a real life romance. However, Johnson has not been seen with Dornan after the completion of the movies. Dornan remains happily married to Amelia Warner, from whom he has 2 kids.

Like the Johnson and Dornan rumor, there is also no eveidence  suggesting a romance between the 2 actresses Johnson and Delevingne.
