‘The Blacklist’ Season 4 Rumors Suggest The Show Is Headed Down To Cancellation

'The Blacklist' Season 4 is well underway for its mid-season finale, but reports indicate the show has been suffering a continuous decline in ratings.

According to TV By The Numbers by Zap2it, the ratings and audience of 'The Blacklist' are constantly declining since it moved to Thursday nights schedule in the middle of Season 2.

However, 'The Blacklist' Season 4 has now reached the marginal rating zone, having a 1.2 or lower same-day rating for four out of its five episodes so far, as reported by the publication. For the fans of the show, this means for now, the villainous spine-chilling television series has a 50-50 chance of getting cancelled or renewed.

This means fans will have to wait and watch if the show's spin-off titled, 'The Blacklist:Redemption' will air in its slated premier date in 2017 or not.

Meanwhile, a lot of buzz had happened in an attempt to speculate the plot of 'The Blacklist' Season 4 Episode 6, that finally aired on Thursday, Oct. 27 on NBC TV Network.

Here's a look of what happened in 'The Blacklist' Season 4 Episode 6 titled, "The Thrushes."

After much speculation, Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) was finally captured in Episode 6 of Season 4 of 'The Blacklist.' Another big highlight of the episode was that Elizabeth 'Liz' Keen (Megan Boone) was thankfully reunited with her child, Agnes in Episode 6, thus finally putting an end to the cat-and-mouse game with her biological father.

Episode 6 also turned up with an interesting angle in which Liz wound up choosing to go along with Raymond 'Red' Reddington's (James Spader) plan instead of Alexander. There was a certain means to an end but there was enough level of trust that Liz had in Red to get her daughter back.

TVLine noted that Episode 6 finally ended the hunt for Alexander, setting things up nicely as 'The Blacklist' Season 4 closes on its fall finale.
