Katy Perry turned 32 on Oct. 25 and she ushered in the celebration by casting an early vote for democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton ahead of the US Presidential election.

Perry wore a patriotic outfit to cast her vote, pairing her jeans and T-shirt with a star spangled jacket and a matching bag. She shared the image on Instagram with a supporting caption that read, "Gave myself the best birthday present ever by voting today." She also wished Clinton a Happy Birthday, who celebrated her 69th birthday on Oct. 26.

Perry later checked out at Kanye West's concert at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

It is a known fact that Perry has been very vocal about her support for Clinton in the run for US Presidency. In September, shortly after Clinton went head to head with republican candidate Donald Trump in the US Presidential debate, Perry appeared to confirm her choice of endorsement in social media with a video. In the 'Funny or Die' spoof video, she can be seen completely naked with her modesty blurred and a slogan that read: "Katy Perry votes naked tomorrow."

Perry also added in a caption that said, "Tomorrow I use my body as clickbait to help change the world." Although Clinton was not particularly mentioned, references of Perry's support for the Democratic nominee are in abundance. Perry performed at the Democratic National convention in July to support Clinton to mention a few. In the event, the singer told the audience that she loves Hillary too and has a couple of saved messages on her phone by Clinton.

Days before casting the vote, the Grammy-award winning singer and a group of female friends wore T-shirts bearing the slogan, "Nasty women" in reference to Trump's comment about Clinton at their third and final debate. She wrote alongside the image on Instagram: "Tap if you're nasty."
