By Mohender | Update Date: Oct 24, 2016 07:27 AM EDT

It's been almost a year since the release of surface Pro 4. Now it is time for its successor Surface Pro 5 to hit the market. Microsoft is speculating huge gains from this device as the Surface Pro 4 was very popular and its sale was ten times more than the previous devices.

Surface Pro 5 is going to be the fifth surface Pro tablet and it would be ready for sale in the spring of 2017. The price of this device shall be little more than Surface Pro 4. These are rumors because no trustworthy source is available providing information about the release of Microsoft Surface Pro 5.

There would be few other releases like surface book 2 and the surface keyboard. As far as the prices are concerned the device will start at $ 899 which will mostly depend on upon the configuration and the accessories you chose.

The customer was impressed by the previous version of this device so there is always a chance for improvement. It is believed that there shall be lots of modifications in the new Surface Pro 5 which may include the screen size, resolution and the hardware inside. This is definitely going to be a better windows 10 tablet.

Expectations are for a better battery life from the new Surface Pro, maybe 7 hours. Hence it would be closer to Mac Book Air and other tablets like iPad Pro.

The screen resolution might be little sharp. It was 2736/1824 pixels with a 12.3-inch screen in Surface Pro 4. There are predictions that the new surface pro might be equipped with a 4K screen that is 3840 pixels wide. Hence the entertainment capabilities of this device might be wide open. Film and photo editors will witness lots of benefits.

Microsoft has tested USB-C in its Lumia phones hence there is no doubt that Microsoft is going to introduce the same technology in the Surface Pro 5.

The latest updates shall be available during the October 26 event of Microsoft.
