Girl Meets World Season 4 is in a 'dark' place right now. The show just finished airing its Special Halloween Episode. It has been confirmed that the Disney series will push through with its three-week hiatus. Thus, cancellation rumors won't die down as reported by MNG.

No Chance for Season 4?

Obviously, the fans are weary about the show's possible cancellation and so far, they have done everything they possibly can to save it. They made online petitions, raved about it on social media, created all the hype in the world, to no avail. Or so it seems. The actors of the show sounded like they were really saying their goodbyes to everyone for real.

Right now, the Disney Channel has not made any official announcement about airing Girl Meets World Season 4, this according to iTechPost. But this may be a good thing just the same since fans are more interested in Freeform picking up the upcoming episodes. Freeform has long become the home network of the show's predecessor, Boy Meets World. After all Maya and Riley are growing up. Disney will not be able to tackle more mature roles as their shows are intended for kids. Obviously, because it's a children's network.

Maya and Riley are already graduating from high school. It's only but natural for viewers wanting to see them off to college. That's where real life happens, doesn't it. Their love story could blossom into a happy-ever-after, or they could each go off  on their own adventures, meet new people, new love. At any rate, there's more room to grow, more freedom for better storylines that couldn't be done considering the limitations they had to contend with at Disney.

Again, guys, these are all rumors. The show is still on its third season and is expected to be back from its brief hiatus on November 4. For more of Girl Meets World Season 4 cancellation news and latest updates, keep it here on Counselheal. Hit us with your feedback in the comments below.
