How I Met Your Mother Season 10 a possibility? Sure looks it! After series bid fans goodbye two years ago, rumors have been floating around that a series reboot will take place soon. If this pushes through, HIMYM fanatics would love to find out what happened to the gang. Fillers about the last 24 months, anyone?

Spinoff VS Reboot

Alyson Hannigan said a spinoff is more likely to happen compared to a reboot. iTechPost reported that during a recent interview, Hannigan mentioned that in the last season, she told Jason Segal, her onscreen husband that a 'Marshall-Lily spinoff' was needed. Segal responded and said,"10 years...and then we come back."

The Stopru also reported that the American Pie lead star said that the spinoff doesn't necessarily have to be about their characters. Hannigan said they just love working together, that's the main reason why they would do another sitcom.

The outlet also reported that Hannigan gave their new sitcom a new title: Out by Lunch. It's been an inside joke ever since because Segal and Hannigan are known for working really fast there are days they're done by lunchtime.

How I Met Your Dad?

Meanwhile, speculations have also been going around about CBS planning to work on another series entitled How I Met Your Dad. Executive Producer Carter bays denied the rumors saying they were really not working on that concept anymore.

Created by Craig Thomas and Bays, How I Met Your mother was first released on Sept. 2005. The show's plot revolves around Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) telling his kids how he met their mother. It went on for 208 episodes and gained loyal viewers over the years. After nine seasons, the series finally bid goodbye on March 2014.
