Dark chocolate

Dark chocolate is one of the best things to have in stressed conditions. It helps ease emotional strain and elevates moods naturally. Prefer organic dark chocolates and as dark as possible. Also, it is important that you look for chocolates that have fewer ingredients. 

Almonds

Almonds are rich in Vitamin B and Vitamin E. These vitamins help strengthen immune system during stressful conditions. You don't need to have more than five to seven almonds. 

Sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes also pack immune boosting nutrients which help fight stress. Experts suggest having a warm dish of sweet potatoes after a long day, as it can give a feeling of satisfaction and tranquility. 

Sugar

Our body needs sugar-good sugar. Chief sources of sugar include fresh or dry fruits, and raw honey. Honey is known to boost immune system. It also gives a better night's sleep. A spoonful of honey per day is all you need. 

Green vegetables

Asparagus, spinach, kale are rich sources of vitamins and minerals, such as folic acid and magnesium. These minerals are known to promote emotional well-being. All you need is a cup of these vegetables per day.
