Barcelona is the most popular vacation spot for older women looking to hook up with younger men, according to a new survey.

A new poll conducted by dating site CougarLIfe.com reveals that British women can't get enough of Spain, with 19 percent of female respondents voting Barcelona as their favorite hunting ground.

The poll found that 70 percent of women on the site plan to "hook up" with younger men while they're on vacation.

The survey revealed that 53 percent of women intend to hook up with hotel or activity staff, and just over a half plan on picking up tennis and gold instructors.

"For cougars like myself who enjoy flirting with young attractive men, Spain is one fabulous playground so I'm not surprised it took the number one spot for women looking for their dream cub," said Marlo Jordan, who was voted in as CougarLife.com's ultimate cougar, according to Daily Mail.

"We like luxury, spas, beach-front cocktails and handsome Mediterranean men who appreciate mature woman and are not shy of expressing themselves," added the business owner and dating coach.

The survey also revealed that the Canary Islands are a hot spot for cougars on the prowl, with 17 percent of the 1,043 respondents voting it as the best place to hook up with younger men.  The survey also revealed that 17 percent of women on the site preferred Cyprus, 14 percent preferred Greece and 8 percent preferred Egypt.
