Former Olympic Gold Medal athlete, Bruce Jenner, now famously known as Caitlyn Jenner, reveals in her Memoir, The Secrets of My Life, her gender reassignment surgery- expectations and transitions to womanhood.

In June 2015, Jenner revealed her new identity to the public as Caitlyn Marie; legally changed her gender from male to female in October 2016; and was confirmed to have had gender reassignment surgery in January 2017, the People reports.

In an explosive interview with Diane Sawyer, Caitlyn Jenner revealed that the surgery was successful and she feels wonderful and liberated.

The 67-year-old said that she believes in honesty and openness that's why she's revealing her surgery to the public. She said people wanted to know the real score and so she's giving them the pleasure of knowing, but Jenner warns that she will only talk about it once and never will she speak of it ever again, the Online Radar  confirms.

Two years before her January 2017 gender reassignment surgery, Jenner underwent breast augmentation and facial feminization in order to really feel being Caitlyn. The former Olympian said that her sex change was a complex decision but said that she has finally come to the decision to go under the knife to finally have all the right parts. She also added that she's tired of tucking her penis all the time.

According to Caitlyn, for the first time in her life, she is now going to live authentically. She shares that hours before the surgery, she had an initial freak out and was thinking long and hard about her life-changing decision. Jenner said her decision was worth it since she's positive that she's going to have the enthusiasm in life that she deserves after not having it for 39 years since the Olympics.

Since 2007, Caitlyn Jenner, her ex-wife Kris, and daughters Kendall and Kylie appeared in a reality TV series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Jenner also starred in the television show, I am Cait, from 2015-2016, which focused on her gender transition.
