Many fans are thankful that Jeremy Renner is part of not one but multiple film franchises. To Marvel fans, he's familiar as Clint Barton A.K.A. the bow and arrow wielding Hawkeye. For some, he's known as the guy who replaced Matt Damon in the fourth installment in the "Bourne" film series, while for others, he's known as William Brandt in "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation."

Speaking of "Mission Impossible 6," it seems that Jeremy Renner won't be back. Although, he's focused as he films "Avengers: Infinity War" instead.

Why Won't Renner Be in "M:I6"?

According to Screenrant, Jeremy Renner won't be back for "Mission: Impossible 6," due to scheduling conflicts, most probably because he's set to film "Avengers: Infinity War" this year, which is also the time for "Mission: Impossible 6" to come together in terms of production as well. As of now, it is still unclear whether the actor will be back to reprise his role as William Brandt in films beyond "Mission: Impossible 6."

Right now, Jeremy Renner is busy as he films "Avengers: Infinity War," which Part 1 is due out this May 2018. He reprises his role as Hawkeye, and he took to Twitter to share an image of him working on the film, Comicbook reported. This will be the actor's fifth outing as the superhero, as he debuted as the character in "Thor" in 2011, reprised in "The Avengers" in 2012, and again in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in 2015, as well as last year's hit offering, "Captain America: Civil War."

Where Else Could Fans See Him?

As Jeremy Renner won't be back for "Mission: Impossible 6" because he's busy as he films "Avengers: Infinity War" instead, he'll also appear in this year's Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler comedy, "The House," which arrives this June 30. He'll also lend his voice to Swifty in the upcoming animated film, "Arctic Justice: Thunder Squad."
