‘John Wick 3’ Update: Samuel L Jackson’s Possibility As Villain Against Keanu Reeves; Role In Nick Fury Not Confirmed
One of the important actors of 2006’s super hit movie “Black Snake Moan,” Samuel L Jackson is highly interested in “John Wick 3.” However, it was not possible for him to confirm if he is going to be a part of “Avengers: Infinity War.”
While the 68-year old Jackson was busy in talking about the spinoff of “Nick Fury,” he suddenly expressed his interest to join the making of “John Wick 3.” He further went ahead to say that he always enjoyed watching the original and recently released sequel.
Will Samuel L Jackson Get A Chance In “John Wick 3?”
Samuel L Jackson has recently received tons of critical praise for his role as a leader of the Sky Devils helicopter squadron in the recently released movie “Kong: Skull Island.” While the eminent actors like Laurence Fishburne, Willem Dafoe, Ian McShane and John Leguizamo have already joined the cast of “John Wick 3,” fans and movie critics are expecting Jackson to get added in the roster sooner than later, as reported by Comic Book.
Simon Thompson Talks About Jackson Interest In “John Wick 3”
Simon Thompson disclosed his conversation with Samuel L Jackson in the latest episode of Meet The Movie Press, saying that they both had a detailed discussion about the franchise on multiple occasions. Although it’s not clear he is interested in his own fictional character Nick Fury, but his way of expressing his interest seemed like he must have undergone some secret discussion with “John Wick 3” director Chad Stahelski.
“He (Samuel L Jackson) actually was less interested in that than he was in an idea he floated with me, and he’s floated it with me twice now. He wants to do, over a ‘Nick Fury’ movie, ‘John Wick 3’ with Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves,” Thompson said, Slash Film reported.
If Jackson become a part of “John Wick 3,” fans will surely love to see him against Keanu Reeves. His ability as a wonderful action-thriller actor will make his task of playing the role of an antagonist completely easy.
