The fifth season of "Agents of SHIELD" may be the last season of the show. The spoilers for Season 5 indicate that Dr. Hall and Grant Ward may be coming back.

Currently, "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 is on a break. The break is expected to last until April, where fans should expect the show back on TV. The show will be back for its third and final part. "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 had become quite popular due to the addition of a cast member - Gabriel Luna.

On the other hand, there are also rumors that the show may not be renewed for the fifth season, according to TV Line. It was reported that the chances of there being a renewal are still at a 50/50 chance. However, since the TV series has numerous star characters, it is expected that it may get an extension.

Whatever happens, the fate of Agents of SHIELD stands on the decision, which will be made by ABC.  ABC will eventually make an announcement on whether there will be a fifth installation of the show or not. Several TV networks, including ABC, tend to make statements for cancellation or renewals of TV shows during the month of May.

On the other hand, the last part of "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 will air in the beginning of April. In the sixteenth episode of "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4, fans will see that Daisy will be able to reconnect with her dead Ex-boyfriend. She will have to deal with the fact that her ex-boyfriend (Grant Ward) will be coming back into her life in the second installment of season four.

Meanwhile, there is a link between the "Agents of SHIELD" and Marvel "Inhumans" because they share some common elements in their sets. Various production images from the "Inhumans" are similar to those that were seen during "Agents of SHIELD" Season 2, according to Starz Post.
