Mark Harmon Health 2017: 'NCIS' Season 14 Lead Actor Allegedly Unwilling To Quit TV Show Despite Health Issues

Mark Harmon is surely one of the best actors in the hit TV series, "NCIS" Season 14. The actor has been diagnosed with cancer, but despite his illness, it seems that he is not ready to quit the show.

"NCIS" Season 14 star, Mark Harmon has been in the show for several years now. Although, the actor who plays the role of Leroy Jethro Gibbs looked frail due to his illness. Fans are becoming worried that he would be quitting the show to focus on his health. Fans are even reportedly  threatening that they will not watch the series anymore if Mark Harmon was to leave.

Mark Harmon's Illness Requires Him To Rest From "NCIS"?

According to Celebeat, Mark Harmon seems to be thinner this season, which made televiewers think that his health is becoming worse. The actor even admitted that he has never been thinner than the usual.

Allegedly, he has never been this weak in his life and revealed that he was never out of shape when he was younger. His exit from the show is still to be known, however Mark Harmon wants fans to know that he still has the energy to keep working.

"Pilates. It completely kicks my ass," he revealed, as he shared how he tries to keep his body in shape. "[I had a] shoulder injury [that drew me to Pilates]. The physical therapist I went to was all about that. They kick your ass on these machines."

He was also asked by Men's Fitness about his alternative career if he was not successful in acting. Harmon stated that he would be a carpenter. "I would be a carpenter," the actor said. "I tried to do that, but I just could not get hired. I enjoyed getting up and doing that in the morning; I enjoyed the drive to work."

"NCIS" Season 14 continues to air starring Mark Harmon. The actor is yet to confirm if he will not quit the show. Thus, readers are advised to take this report with a grain of salt.
