Kate Upton News: Sports Illustrated Model Thanks People Who Called Her Fat; Made Her More Confident

The latest Kate Upton news is all over the internet right now after the "Sports Illustrated" model revealed how people called her fat. She said that this gave her the inspiration and confidence.

In a Facebook Live conversation, Kate Upton, together with the Hailey Clauson, Sailor Brinkley Cook, and Aly Raisman, talked about their body confidence and how it molded them. The 24-year-old "Sports Illustrated" model said that she had critics when she was 19 - they said that she was fat. Kate Upton said that it was the time she had her first cover and "they were tearing it apart."

She said, "I have to thank the people who did that because it really made me sit back and find out who I was and what meant something to me and how I thought about my body."

The supermodel and actress also noted that if one does not have haters, then they are probably not successful. She added that she realized these haters lash out on her because they were insecure, a report from People said. For a couple of years since her breakout "Sports Illustrated" stint, the supermodel also dealt with negative reports about her weight gain. Kate Upton also said that she is confident with her body and is more inspired to empower woman to embrace their imperfections.

Kate Upton News: Model Spills Her Secret

The "The Other Woman" actress meanwhile revealed her secret to staying sexy. She credits her physique to her intensive training with trainer Ben Bruno for three to six times a week. In one report, she said she also does circuit-based strength training, which she does consistently, Pedestrian said.

The American model said that strength training really worked well in her body, as she balances her diet. She even hinted that she would have cheat days, though she still has limitations.
