‘The Curse of Oak Island’ Season 5 May Not Push Through; One Episode Left To Discover 200-Year-Old Treasure

It’s a turning point for “The Curse of Oak Island”, a reality television series which first premiered on the History Channel in Canada on Jan. 5, 2014. “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 4 is already on the verge of ending with only one episode left, titled “Blood is Thicker, which will air on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

So far, there is no update from History Channel on the renewal of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5. Some news outlets and critics have predicted its discontinuation, saying that the network would not be able to continue due to budget constraints. Since the series requires a huge investment due to the use of heavy equipment and latest technology by the Lagina brothers, it’s quite a challenging task for the showrunners and producers to ponder over another season.

According to TV Over Mind, the interesting part of last and upcoming episodes of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5 is that the plot is very fascinating and thrilling, which has helped fans generate multiple opinions and views on Rick and Marty Lagina.

On the other hand, the characters are absolutely lovable and fans have truly appreciated by enjoying the mystery that every episode is still keeping in its pool. However, the series also received some negative comments from time to time, with a few complaints during the ongoing season, as reported by Opptrends Magazine.

The present buzz over the web world surrounding “The Curse of Oak Island” is that the mythical 200-year-old treasure is not going to be discovered until the loss of seven men searching for it. So far, six men have given their lives searching for it. In the last episode of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5, the team has examined rocks on Oak Island and now they have contemplated on digging another hole. There is no doubt that the 200-year-old treasure will never be found in only one episode left for season 4. Hence, the road to season 5 is expected to open sooner than later.
