Rumors regarding the "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date are making its rounds on the Internet. While Rockstar Games chose to keep mum regarding this subject, fans are piecing the puzzle to finally figure out when will "GTA 6" be developed. Now that Rockstar Games other popular title "Red Dead Redemption 2" is already set to launch this year, "GTA 6" could be next.

Since it is first to launch, it only makes sense for Rockstar Games to give their full attention to "Red Dead Redemption 2." The video game developer then noted that they want the fans to do the same and focus on the second installment of the open world western action-adventure video game as well. Although the exact "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date has yet to be announced, its initial debut is confirmed to be in 2017.

Now that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is set to be launched soon, it could mean that "Grand Theft Auto 6" is back to Rockstar Games' priority list. This is the big break that the fans are waiting for since it has been previously reported that "Grand Theft Auto 6" is facing more problems than progress.

Earlier reports revealed that the budget for the game may be too high for Rockstar Games. Rumors have it that "Grand Theft Auto 6" may feature VR or AR support. So with that added feature, the multi-million budget for the much-awaited game may be too much for the video game developer to handle. "Grand Theft Auto 5" cost Rockstar Games a whopping $265 million to develop.

With the hype of "Grand Theft Auto 6" getting bigger by the minute, the game has a huge capacity to earn a large profit despite the huge budget. Although Rockstar Games has yet to announce the official "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date, many believed that "GTA 6" will be launched in 2018 or 2020.
