Amazon has a lot of binge-worthy shows, but "Goliath" instantly became a hit to the viewers, taking the top spot as being the most watched show. With this success, fans have been hoping for a "Goliath" Season 2 and Billy Bob Thornton and the show's creator echoes this request.

"I honestly believe there is more potential for this show beyond the first season," Billy Bob Thornton said to the press at the backstage of Golden Globe Awards. The 61-year-old actor, filmmaker, and musician then added that he had been wanting to portray a lawyer and even went on to say that he could relate to the "Goliath" Season 2 character.

The creator of the Amazon Original series, David E. Kelly, is also hoping for the possibility of "Goliath" Season 2. Since Amazon has noted that "Goliath" is their No. 1 show, he revealed that this is what giving him high hopes that the outlet will not let go of the show and "Goliath" Season 2 may be renewed soon, as reported by Deadline.

Clearly, the show captured the hearts of a lot of people and fans have been sharing their love for the series and they are definitely hoping for "Goliath" Season 2 to happen soon. With the success of "Goliath," many believed that the sequel for the Amazon original is already a done deal. But months have passed after the first season wrapped up and there is still no word regarding the "Goliath" Season 2 release date.

The high demand for "Goliath" Season 2 makes a lot of sense since the show was dubbed as Amazon "top-binged" show as reported by the outlet itself. With the huge success of the first season, it's only fitting that Amazon will grab the opportunity while the hype for the American legal drama web television series is still hot. Unfortunately, Amazon remained tight-lip regarding the status of "Goliath" Season 2.
