They are busy celebrating the revelation that Michael Scofield is actually alive not thinking about how this all went down. A new report revealed that the possibility of "Prison Break" Season 5 happened because of "The Flash."

Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) revealed that "Prison Break" Season 5 was first opened up when he and Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) was casted in the first season of "The Flash." While the duo played brothers in "Prison Break," Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell tagged team as villains Captain Cold and Heatwave in the CW superhero series.

The 44 year-old actor, model and producer shared that it was that time that he was reunited with Dominic Purcell, eight years after "Prison Break" supposedly ended, as reported by Variety. "Suddenly we were back on set, discussing old times. And out of that conversation came the possibility of revisiting 'Prison Break,'" Wentworth Miller said at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Wednesday.

While the renewal of "Prison Break" Season 5 is such an amazing news for the fans of the hit Fox show, the excitement for its return will not last for long. It was previously reported that "Prison Break" Season 5 will be the last and final installment of the show and it will only have nine episodes.

After all these years, fans will only have nine episodes of the highly-wanted "Prison Break" Season 5.
