This February, fans of Bungie's online-only first-person shooter video game will receive a "Destiny" patch in the form of Update 2.5.0.2. The new Update 2.5.0.2 arriving February for "Destiny" features Crucible balancing and changes in weapons, and we're here to discuss what's in store next month.

According to GameSpot, the Update 2.5.0.2 arriving February doesn't have any patch notes at the moment. However, "Destiny" senior designer Josh Hamrick has taken to the Bungie Weekly Update to share some insights about the update. According to Hamrick, there are a total of five objectives that the patch should be able to achieve once it arrives in February.

First of all, Update 2.5.0.2 for "Destiny" aims to provide changes in weapons by promoting alternatives and counters to shotguns. It also aims to address issues with a sampler platter of Exotics, as well as support adjustments to Special ammunition. Update 2.5.0.2 arriving February will also align potency of Primary weapons with surgical changes.

Additionally, "Destiny" gamers should also expect that Update 2.5.0.2 arriving February, which features Crucible balancing and changes in weapons, will also file down some issues from each class. While Hamrick's update doesn't indicate full details about Update 2.5.0.2 arriving February, it does give a fair look at what Bungie has in store for "Destiny."

Per VG247, the new "Destiny" patches, including the Update 2.5.0.2 arriving February will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles only. To keep up with the latest on Update 2.5.0.2, which features Crucible balancing and changes in weapons, keep this page bookmarked.
