Bandai Entertainment hasn't announced the official release date of "Tekken 7," to the disappointment of eager fans. While speculations are rife that the game will be released first quarter of 2017, the game developer may just give out specific details very soon.

"Tekken 7" was rumored to be released last week of February according to report by Avoiding The Puddle last year. However, a more specific time was posted by Steam, which fans were quick to note. It appears that the release date is going to be on February 24, 2017, as the Steam listing shows. One fan particularly took a screenshot showing the alleged release date of the game. Previously, some Reddit users thought "Tekken 7" would be available around on February 14. One fan claims that a retailer in Belgium confirmed that the game will be released on the said date. He was told the game would be available for pick-up by then. However, these claims were all lacking in proof until the Steam listing that was captured.

While this could be great news to many fans as February is just around the corner, Community Advisor for "Tekken 7" confirmed that the date was a placeholder. Mark Julio further advises that fans should wait a little while for the official release date of "Tekken 7." To make up for the lack of concrete details, "Tekken 7" released a PVP Live report promised that more details about the EVO line up should be revealed sometime this month. This should be enough to make developers decide when the game will be released.

However, a contrasting report was recently released by Segment Next claiming that the game may not make first quarter of the year. The report claims that an official Bandai Namco live-stream on Twitch listed the release date of "Tekken 7" as simply 2017. More so, the listing was arranged in an ascending manner, further suggesting that the game may not make it early of this year. However, take note that all these are mere speculations and as Julio said, it's better to wait for the official announcement.
