This Friday, SIE is finally releasing "Gravity Rush 2" to PlayStation 4. The upcoming action-adventure video game from SIE Japan Studio and Project Siren is the sequel to the 2012 PS Vita game and will bring back the gravity-controlling mechanics from the first game.

Ahead of its release, however, the studio has released a new live-action trailer that features a super cute kitty. Check it out below. Back in December, GameSpot reported that the demo for "Gravity Rush 2" was released just in time for the holidays.

SCEA project manager Nick Accordino explained that the demo featured two paths—one for fans of the game who are familiar with it already, and one for newbies. For those who are awaiting the arrival of the game on Friday, know that there are three times more missions on this iteration of the game than its predecessor.

"Gravity Rush 2" was initially delayed from December 2 to January 20. According to game director Keiichiro Toyama, the studio needed more time to conclude Kat's journey in the best way they possibly can, which is why they needed to extend development for about five weeks. Fans need not worry, however, as the delay has brought about a free DLC pack in the form of an additional story, VG247 reported.

"Gravity Rush 2" follows Kat, Syd, and Raven as they go on to investigate a rather odd gravity wave disturbance in the city of Hekseville. Their investigation leads them to the mysterious Banga Village, where a mining settlement is found. "Gravity Rush 2" arrives to PlayStation 4 this Friday, January 20. Check out the live-action trailer below.
