Jason Momoa 2017: 'Justice League' Star Reportedly Regrets 'Game Of Thrones' Role As Khal Drogo

Khal Drogo is undoubtedly one of the most memorable characters in "Game of Thrones" especially since the Dothraki lord was portrayed by "Justice League" star Jason Momoa. However, it looks like the new Aquaman doesn't think so highly of his portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen's dead husband.

Jason Momoa only appeared in two seasons of "Game of Thrones" since Khal Drogo was one of the first major characters who ended up getting killed off in the first season. Although the "Justice League" actor only had a short appearance on the HBO series, Momoa has just admitted that it wasn't a job he would have taken unless he really needed the money.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Momoa confirmed that his role in "Game of Thrones" had no positive effects to his career since "Khal Drogo doesn't even speak English." Nevertheless, the "Justice League" star shared that he enjoyed playing the Dothraki lord who was Daenerys Targaryen's first husband. In addition to that, Momoa said he is grateful for being a part of the HBO series since it still earned him "a lot of respect."

But is there any chance that Jason Momoa would reprise his role as Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones" Season 7? The internet was aflutter in September last year when the "Justice League" actor caught up with the "GOT" executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss then posted a Instagram photo with a teasing caption. Unfortunately, there is little chance for Daenerys Targaryen's dead ex to make an appearance in the highly anticipated seventh season.

Khal Drogo might not be returning in "Game of Thrones" Season 7, but fans can still catch Jason Momoa in his new Netflix series "Frontier", which airs on January 20. Momoa will then appear as Arthur Curry/Aquaman in "Justice League", which premieres on November 17.
